TEHRAN, April 14 - Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement condemning missile attack by US, France and UK on Syria and warned of its regional and cross-regional aftermaths.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “This aggression is blatant violation of international rules and regulations and ignoring right of national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.”
“The Islamic Republic of Iran based on religious, legal and moral principles, is against use of chemical weapons and believes that making excuse for aggression against an independent country is considerably unacceptable and condemned.”
The ministry said that the US and its allies embarked on military strike on Syria without any proven document and even prior to final announcement by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons over the alleged chemical attack in Syria.
It added that the countries have regarded themselves as a global police and judge.
“They are responsible for regional and cross-regional aftermaths of this adventure and they should be held accountable for that.”
