Tehran, YJC. Ayatollah Noori Hamedani says that the war in Syria is one between Islam and paganism.
Speaking
in a meeting with a number of IRGC commanders in Qom on Tuesday, Ayatollah
Hossein Noori Hamedani said "The Syrian issue is one between Islam and
paganism. All the countries that have hard feelings for Islam, including the US,
UK, EU, and the Zionist regime, are waging war on Islam.”
The
ayatollah asserted "The current of atheism and disunion are making excuses to
defeat Syria, because Syria is a country that resists the Zionism regime.”
