TEHRAN, April 11 - A senior aide to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said the country would support Syria to confront any aggression.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Ali Akbar Velayati, a senior adviser to Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on international affairs said Tehran-Damascus strategic ties to keep peace in the region are detrimental.
He also stressed boosting consultations between Iran and Syria to confront terrorists and their supporters.
“Coordination between Iran and Syria is necessary to confront threats and warmongering moves of Zionist regime, the US, their allies and their regional tools.”
