TEHRAN, April 10 - "More Islamic centers should be established in the West in order to promote genuine Islamic teachings; the main purpose of such centers is to educate Muslims in the West according to genuine Islamic teachings and Ahlubayt's (as) doctrine." said Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Fatimiyya Islamic Center was opened in the city of Barcelona, Spain on Monday, April 9 at the presence of Grand Ayatollah Sistani's Representative in Europe Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Mortadha Kashmiri and several other Muslims.
During the opening ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam Mortadha Kashmiri made some remarks saying, "More Islamic centers should be established in the West in order to promote genuine Islamic teachings; the main purpose of such centers is to educate Muslims in the West according to genuine Islamic teachings and Ahlubayt's (as) doctrine."
He went on to say, "Authorities of Islamic centers must constantly keep in touch with Muslims so that they can address Muslim communities' intellectual, ethical and religious issues."
"In order to realize this mission, we must promote Islamic principles, the history of Islam and help Muslims memorize Quran. We can also make people familiar with the ethical code of Ahlul Bayt (as) so that their Islamic identity is boosted and they adhere to the valuable teachings of Ahlul Bayt (as)." Hujjat al-Islam Kashmiri concluded.
