TEHRAN, April 04 - Iranian Defense Minister Amir Hatami said the country is against any military aggression to other countries.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Any policy for meddling, aggression and separatism for regional countries runs counter to will and interests of regional nations and governments,” he said in his speech in the 7th Moscow International Security Conference.
He said extremism and terrorism are the most important challenges threatening lives of millions of people.
Hatami said confronting this common threat effectively and establishing sustainable stability and security in the region need adopting cooperation-based defense ties and pursuing Asian security order based on economic, political and cultural bonds inside the region.
Iran stresses a common political initiative to settle Syrian crisis and urges respect to territorial integrity and sovereignty of countries, he said, adding Iran is ready to end suffers of oppressed Yemenis through regional cooperation.
