Tehran, YJC. President has said that he will lay Iran’s stances on regional and international concerns in Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting.
Hassan Rouhani left Iran for Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan on Thursday
to attend the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) meeting.
Before departure, the president stressed the importance of
the meeting under current circumstances.
"I am going to Bishkek for an official invitation by the
president of Kyrgyzstan and in the sidelines of the Shanghai meeting I will
have meetings with the presidents of Russia and China, as well as officials
from other countries,” Rouhani added.
He pointed out that as members of the UN Security Council
and the SCO, Russia and China enjoy much influence to solve international
issues.
"In the Shanghai meeting I will lay Iran’s positions on
important regional and international issues,” Rouhani maintained.
