TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Karl Feraz Bente, the German economist and businessman by presence at Razavi Illuminated Court converted to Islam and chose the blessed name of Reza for himself.
“In the summer of last year I came to Iran to carry out several economic projects and I traveled to various cities of Iran; I was acquainted with the Iranian customs and traditions closely and I was influenced by their culture” he said.
“One of the positive points of travel to Iran was proof of the lies and propaganda of the Western media. They had created a wrong image of Islam and Iran in my mind, which caused me to eliminate anti-Islamic sentiments” the newly German Muslim stated.
Karl Bente, saying that during this time he was inspired by Qur'an and established deep emotional and heartily connections with the glorious verses of the words of revelation stated, “Muslim belief in God is much stronger than other religions and I have perceived this fact with my intellect and heart.”
“In my studies on Islam, I came across some interesting and strange issues which were the answer to many of my questions ever” he added.
The director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi in the conversion ritual of the German 60-year-old man also said, “The relationship between societies and cultures is not monopolized by governments anymore in the current era and people can properly grasp the facts.”
“The Supreme Leader of the Revolution, in a letter to European and American young people, called a frightening image of Islam, a negative portrayal against Islam and urged Western youth to obtain direct and immediate cognizance of Islam” Seyyed Mohammad Jawad Hasheminihad expressed.
“Following this letter, we saw the increasing growth of European and American youth and truth seekers converting to Islam in the Imam Reza (A.S.) Holy Shrine” he asserted.
Hasheminejad said that the enemies of Islam are struggling to make the religion of Islam and Muslims scary and despicable; however, they could not reach their goal and added, “It is hoped that the youth by more understanding, knowledge and study about the facts, build the grounds for their worldly and afterlife beatitude.”
