TEHRAN, March 20 - Iran’s Parliament Special Assistance in International affairs said the Syrian crisis needs reaching a political solution, yet confronting terrorism needs fight not negotiation.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a meeting with Syria’s envoy to Iran Mahmoud Adnan, Hossein Amirabdollahian said Tehran would continue to simultaneously support both political solution and fighting terrorism in Syria as well as the region.
He noted that the US and Saudis’ support of terrorists in Eastern Ghouta undermined the political process.
Amirabdollahian also pointed out to Saudis’ war crimes in Yemen, which led to the death and displacement of thousands of Yemenis.
Mahmoud Adnan Also for his part appreciated Iran’s support of Syria in fighting terrorism and elaborated on the recent political and field developments of Syria.
