TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Following the efforts and struggles on the implementation of the CAATSA law, eleven US lawmakers, on top of them Robert Menendez, wrote a letter to the Deputy Foreign Minister John Sullivan over the issue.
‘Countering America's Adversaries Through Sanctions Act’ known as CAATSA is a law US issued against Iran, Russia, and North Korea in order to confront any hostile and threating action against US and its allies.
With the bill approved in US Congress with a high majority, Donald Trump also signed it to make a law.
Yet, some of the lawmakers worry that Donald Tramp refrains from implementing Russian sanctions under CAATSA.
