TEHRAN, March 15 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said Iranians would be using visa on arrival soon for Azerbaijan.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “At the moment, Iranians do not need visa for visiting Turkey and Georgia and they can use visa on arrival for spending holidays in Azerbaijan,” he told reporters in Baku.
Zarif is in Azerbaijan for talks on bilateral and regional issues.
He also took part in Iran-Turkey-Azerbaijan-Georgia cooperation meeting held in Baku.
“We need regional cooperation. We have to have a strong region and our region should be a strong one under bilateral, trilateral and quadrilateral and regional cooperation.”
He said the four countries’ cooperation could pave the way for peace and stability in the region and further cooperation among regional nations based on respecting international law, territorial integrity and national sovereignty.
Zarif added the countries can cooperate well in transit, energy, tourism, industry and technology.
