Tehran, YJC. Foreign Ministry official has said that news about Rouhani's meeting with William Hague are incorrect.
A Foreign Ministry official said anonymously that news about
a meeting between the Iranian president Hassan Rouhani and the British Foreign
Secretary are not correct.
A number of news sources had quoted the Iranian Foreign
Minister Mohammadjavad Zarif that Rouhani was to visit Hague in the sidelines
of his visit to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly.
The official added "Zarif’s statements were in fact in
response to a question regarding the Foreign Minister’s readiness to meet the
Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the UK in the sidelines of the UN General
Assembly.”
