TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) -The Chinese embassy in Nepal is actively assisting with the aftermath following the crash of an aircraft at Nepal's capital airport, Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), in Kathmandu on Monday.
Of the 71 passengers and crew on the US-Bangla aircraft, Nepal's Home Ministry confirmed on Tuesday that the death toll had reached 51, including 22 Nepalese, 28 Bengalese and one Chinese citizen.
The Chinese embassy in Nepal immediately initiated its consular protection protocol to pay very close attention to possible casualties of Chinese citizens and assist the Chinese victim's family with the aftermath.
