TEHRAN, March 4 - Ali Akbar Velayati, a Senior Advisor to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and Japanese Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs Takeo Mori discussed bilateral ties as they met in Tehran.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “Japan is of special importance and position to the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Velayati said in the meeting.
Iran-Japan ties are growing and developing, Velayati said, adding, “The Islamic Republic of Iran is willing to expand bilateral ties with Japan.”
Takeo Mori, for his part, said his country is ready to widen bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He said Japan is after boosting bilateral economic and technical ties with Iran.
