Tehran, YJC. A Kurd Syrian leader has refuted allegations of the application of chemical weapons by the Syrian government.
Alalam reports Salih Muslim, head of
the Kurd Democratic Union Party, one of the biggest Kurd circles in Syria, expressed
doubt on the application of chemical weapons by the Syrian government in the operations
on Wednesday an said "The attack was performed with the aim to accuse Assad of
suing chemical weapons, and the reason for that was to create a trend to turn
the global community against Syria. Bashar Assad is not that naïve to use such
weapons near Damascus.”
Muslim added "Since the Syrian Army
is currently the winner in the fight against the armed forces, it need not use
chemical weapons.”
