TEHRAN, March 1- Oman is after boosting trade ties with Iran, said Deputy Chairman of Omani Chamber of Commerce Rashid al Moslehi.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club(YJC) - An Iranian economic delegation is in Oman to explore ways for boosting bilateral economic and trade cooperation between the two sides.
The delegation was welcomed by 80 Omani traders and businessmen in Omani Chamber of Commerce, showing friendly bilateral political and economic ties and interests in using economic capacities of the two sides, he said.
He added Omani membership in Persian Gulf Cooperation Council and its contacts with African and Arab countries and the US under FTA could be an advantage to be used by Iranian traders and investors to communicate with the whole world.
During the meeting, Deputy Director of Iran’s Chamber of Commerce Hossein Salah-Varzi, expressed readiness to connect traders of the two sides for cooperation in agricultural products, food stuff and minerals.
