TEHRAN, March 1- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif who is in Croatia on the third leg of his east Europe tour stressed boosting economic ties between Iran and Croatia as he met with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club(YJC) - “We have good and friendly political ties with Iran and we are ready to expand our relations with Iran,” she said in the meeting.
“Croatian traders are enthusiastic to work with their Iranian counterparts. Tourism, food industry, science and technology and petrochemicals are fields for bilateral cooperation between the two sides.”
Zarif for his part said Iran is ready to boost bilateral economic ties with Croatia, “Iran could be a secure source for providing Croatia with oil and gas.”
Zarif also stressed boosting bilateral ties in auto manufacturing and car parts.
He said that the two countries can also work on fighting terrorism and extremism.
