Tehran, YJC. Zanganeh says that Iran has made agreements to export oil to Oman.
The Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said in a conference "Iran has good
cooperation in the export of gas with countries of the region. Today we had
discussions with Oman in this section which will soon end in signing
agreements.”
He pointed out that due to its strategic position, Iran is a
vital point for exporting gas to other countries, adding "By exporting gas to
neighbor countries, a long perspective will open the country’s oil industry,
provided that relations with the countries are handled properly so that they
are not disturbed by a faint breeze.”
The Oil Minister said that Iran is willing to cooperate with
OPEC members and the Gas Exporting Countries, adding "Our position in OPEC is
weakened. The only way to strengthen it is to increase the production capacity
and the real production level.”
