TEHRAN, February 27 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif proposes using national currency to settle banking problems of Iranian companies and investors in their foreign trade with other countries.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Speaking in Iran-Serbia trade seminar, Zarif said banking issues is still one of the problems, adding, “To settle this, we are focusing on national currency and we have had agreements with some countries about that and it is going ahead. We are in talks with some other countries and we are using traditional brokerage way between Iranian and foreign banks as well. “
“This way was stopped for a long time and is now being reshaped.”
He said that Iran is facing lack of giant exporter companies and is trying to sort it out by private sector.
