Tehran, YJC. He takes phone calls and takes his shop to the customers’ to polish their shoes.
His name is Ali. He takes the name of his moving shop, Ali
Waxima, from his own name plus the name of Nissan Maxima, considered a luxury
car in Iran, as a light-hearted irony and a pet name for his self-made vehicle.
Customers can call him on his cellphone and he will take his shop wherever they are to polish their shoes. His shop is equipped also with a wireless POS terminal for customers who would like to use their credit cards to pay.
He says he drives his vehicle only to make people smile. On the side of it it reads "Please take photo!”
