TEHRAN, February 24 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said the US should comply with its commitments to the nuclear deal as soon as possible.
TEHRAN,Young Journalists Club (YJC) - He made the remarks after a US official has recently claimed that Iran should accept limitations in cyberspace, human rights and economic activities of the IRGC if it wants Washington to stay in the nuclear deal.
“A member of a multilateral agreement cannot set conditions for the agreement,” said Zarif.
They have already made inappropriate conditions and their new ones are also inappropriate, he said, stressing making any condition (for the deal) is inappropriate.
“What is necessary is that the international community should make sure that rights of Iran as a country which has abided by the nuclear deal are going to be preserved.”
He said the US makes new conditions to evade its obligations, but the international community is fully aware that none of these conditions can even be investigated.
“Therefore, the US should abide by its commitments as soon as possible.”
