Tehran, YJC. Member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Majlis has said that the US needs negotiations with Iran.
"So far as we don't see a dialogue based on honesty the negotiations won't be in our interest,” said Mansour Haqiqatpour.
Providing comments on the US initiative for bilateral talks with Iran, he said "In the past the US has not had shown policies based on honesty toward the Iranian nation and in such situations talks will hold no good.”
"If the US wants to talk it should prove its goodwill by eliminating sanctions,” Haqiqatpour said.
He added "Both before and after the Revolution the US has done crimes against Iran and violated the people's rights. With these it has created a huge wall of distrust which the US itself must pay to raze.”
He said "The US intends to sit at the negotiation desk and then boast that it has exhausted the Revolutionary Iran, but it must no there would be no such negotiations.”
