TEHRAN, February 15 - Iran-India relations are in the right direction, said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani ahead of visiting India on Thursday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “We hope that we can have a better future with regional countries, especially with India,” he said.
Rouhani said that he plans to meet with senior Indian officials and sign a number of cooperation agreements between the two countries.
The two countries have had very good relations in economic, technology, sanitation, health, agriculture and industry and the ties would continue, he said.
He also said that cooperation for investment in Chabahar railroad to Zahedan is of great importance to the two countries.
