TEHRAN, February 14 -The Birmingham Repertory Theater was evacuated due to an explosion during a performance on Tuesday.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) -The Birmingham Repertory Theater was evacuated due to an explosion during a performance on Tuesday.
Police and emergency services rushed to the scene and blocked off several roads surrounding the theater following the explosion. West Midlands Police reported on Twitter that the explosion was "due to a technical fault. No casualties are reported."
The Repertory Theater later confirmed that the explosion was due to a technical fault in a staff-only area of the theater, and that there were no injuries.
