TEHRAN, February 13 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said the country’s private sector is ready for reconstruction of Iraq.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Zarif who is in Kuwait for Iraq’s reconstruction conference is going to meet with Kuwaiti and Iraqi officials and probably with EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini.
“Iraq’s progress and stability is of great importance to the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iran has always stood by Iraqi people,” he said.
He said that Iran has abided by its commitments to the previous round of Iraq’s reconstruction conference.
“Presently, we are working with Iraq in energy field, including power and gas,” he noted.
He said Iran is committed to have active role in Iraq’s reconstruction in both public and private sectors.
