TEHRAN, February 13 - Renault's Director for MENA Region Pascal Felten said Renault’s new platform would hit Iranian market.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Speaking in the 5th international auto industry conference in Tehran, he said Renault has been doing well in international markets because of its trade partners and colleagues in many countries, including Iran.
He also expressed satisfaction over cooperation agreement between Renault and The Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO).
He said implementing the plan would create many job opportunities in Iran.
He noted that Renault new platform would be brought to Iran for production and export.
The platforms are focusing on safety, low pollution and competiveness.
Iran would receive expertise by 2020 with launching the new Renault project in the country, he said, adding, Renault has started activities to develop gearboxes.
He said 650.000 news sedans are going to be manufactured in Iran with French cooperation next year.
