Tehran, YJC. Arabic-African Deputy Foreign Minister has said that Qaboos bin Said al Said will visit Tehran next week.
The Foreign Minister Deputy in Arabic-African Affairs of the
Islamic Republic of Iran said in an interview with Mehr News Agency that the Sultan
of Oman Qaboos bin Said al Said will visit Tehran in an action to strengthen
mutual ties and discuss regional developments.
Hossein Amirabdollahian said "The relations of Iran and
Persian Gulf countries are based on friendship, brotherhood, and mutual trust. The
improvement of cooperation that will be considered by Iran and regional
countries include different issues from environmental to security ones.”
Mehr News Agency reports that Qaboos bin Said al Said is the
first figure of his rank to visit Iran after the election of Hassan Rouhani as the
president of Iran.
