Tehran, YJC. Keyhan Kalhor is to hold a concert with Ali Bahrami Fard playing on the Santur, accompanied by some of the most popular performers from Turkey and Greece.
Ali Bahrami Fard said in an interview with Mehr News Agency "Keyhan Kalhor is throwing a tour in Turkey. His performance on Monday March 4 is called "The Eve of the Kamancheh” and I am accompanying him in this concert with my santur.”

The kamancheh is an Iranian string instrument and the santur is similar to the hammer dulcimer.

Bahrami Fard then mentioned the other performers in the concert and said that most popular players from Turkey and Greece will play along with Kalhor.

Bahrami Fard who has also accompanied Kalhor in "I wont Stand Alone” provided comments on the atmosphere of "The Eve of the Kamancheh”, which will almost entirely consist of improvisations, and said "The work will mostly signify the oriental music.”

Kalhor and Bahrami Fard's last year album "I wont Stand Alone” which was published simultaneously in Iran, Europe, and the US ranked among the best on iTunes.

Keyhan Kalhor is one of the most proliferous Iranian musicians. His albums and concerts have had a great share in introducing the Iranian music to the world. He has many fans outside of the country.
