TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - At the meeting of the council of developing Quranic Culture that was hosted by al-Mustafa international university, Hojjat al-Islam Mahdavi-Mehr, emphasized that according to numerous narratives, the Holy Qur'an has been introduced as the key to achieving the first and the last science and asserted, “The value of human activities in any field depends on the subject of that field, and the great value of work in Quranic fields is because of Quran’s blessings. The more we work in Quranic fields, the more blessings and success we will achieve.”
Deputy chairman of Al-Mustafa university stressed on the formal position of Quran in the educational realm of al-Mustafa and stated, “In the evolution plan of al-Mustafa’s educational system, Quranic courses have been widely regarded.” He added, “Today several thousand of Al-Mustafa students and clerics study in the areas related to Quranic science.”
Referring to some of the achievements of al-Mustafa university in the field of Qur'anic research, Hojjat al-Islam Mahdavi-Mehr said, “In order to develop Quranic culture among the students and their families, Al-Mustafa's deputy of cultural affairs holds various Quranic programs, including the annual convention of Quran and Hadith which takes place insides and outside the country, every year.”
