Tehran, YJC. Foreign ministry has said that the Bushehr power plant will be officially delivered to Iran in the near future.
Fars news agency reports Abbas Araqchi, the Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying at a news conference on Tuesday "The Bushehr nuclear power plant will be officially delivered to the Islamic Republic of Iran in a matter of weeks.”
"Our negotiations with Russia on the next
phases of this power plant as well as other power plants are underway,” he
added.
The Foreign Ministry Spokesman also
pointed to the Iran-5+1 talks and said "No change has occurred on that ground
yet. As long as the Rouhani cabinet is not established and individuals start
operation under their responsibilities, and as long as he has not made a
decision about the new negotiators neither the date nor the details can be
defined.”
