TEHRAN, January 30 - The 29th International Conference of Asian Political Parties will be held in Tehran on February 2 and 3.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The conference is attended by leaders and secretary generals of 40 political parties and organizations from 25 Asian countries.
On February 2 also the conference will be started with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif’s inauguration speech.
The pivots of the speeches being delivered in the conference are ‘the role of parties in de-escalating tensions and confronting extremism’, ‘parties and urban sustainable development’, and ‘the role of parties in political development, cultural interaction, trade exchange expansions in Silk Road’.
Islamic Revolution Leader’s top advisor Ali Akbar Velayati, The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, and Tehran’s Mayer Mohammad Ali Najafi are some of the figures scheduled to deliver speech in the conference.
