TEHRAN, January 29 - Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE) and Borsa Istanbul are going to continue bilateral cooperation, said TSE Managing Director Hassan Qalibaf.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - TSE has signed Memoranda of Understanding with 12 stock exchanges across the world over last 2 years, the most important of which is Borsa Istanbul, Qalibaf said.
“We are trying to register two Turkish companies in the TSE,” he said.
Tehran and Istanbul stock exchanges signed a MoU in 2017, based on the MoU TSE companies can take part in Borsa Istanbul and vice-versa, he noted.
The MoU includes bilateral cooperation in bonds, especially Islamic financial tools including Sukuk widely welcomed by Borsa Istanbul officials, he said.
He said TSE is one of the diversified markets in the region and those seeking interaction with the TSE can start cooperation easily.
