Tehran, YJC. Military official has said that the sanctions put on Iran count as an attack on the country.
Providing comments on the Supreme Leader and the President's speeches on relations with the US, Major General Firouzabadi said "The sancitons are a new attack by the arrogance and the West. We do not disagree with cooperation as accompanied by respect and nations' rights, but the US must take out its iron hand from the soft glove it has streched twards us.

The Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces said "The Holy Defense is still alive and in the Holy Defense everything is at its peak."

"A powerful armed fore, a robust resistive economy, a revolutionary, ever-present nation, and independence in producing the products needed can neutralize global sancitons," Firouzabadi asserted.

Recommending the nation and government to patience against foreign parties, he added "The sanctions are a new offensive by the arrogance and the West. The Western war on Iran still goes on, because the West's problem with us is in the existence of the Islamic Revolution and not in its interests, so we cannot make agreements with them."
