TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - In a tweet, Mike Pence reiterated US baseless charges against Iran stating: “The influence of Iran in the region is dangerous. The last thing we want to see- after driving ISIS out of Iraq & and on the cusp driving ISIS out of Syria- is Iran and the Iranian Revolutionary Guard fill that vacuum. The US & our allies are not going to let that happened.

Ghasemi stressed that the US officials well knew it was Iran that stood besides the Syrian and Iraqi nations and governments and fought against the the US-backed terrorists and that Iran was the main factor to frustrate the sinister plots of the US and its allies in the region.

Referring to Iran’s nuclear deal with 5+1 group, Bahram Ghasemi added “Despite the deceptive words of the US official Iran has never been after achieving nuclear weapons, and JCPOA uncovered the several-year lies of the Americans for the world countries and general public” .

“Constant and, and of course, desperate attempts of US officials to create and produce fake and threats in Persian Gulf and the Middle East, were solely made with the aim of keeping the region unstable for the sinister long-term goals of the Zionist regime, preventing Muslim states from being united against this regime, and making illegitimate economic benefits through the massive sale of weapons to the countries of the region” the Spokesman asserted.

Iranian nation has tasted ‘friendship and manner of US relations’ for several decades through coup, overthrowing national and legal government, capitulation, support for dictators, support for Saddam to attack Iran, use of chemical weapons against defenseless people in some Iranian cities, shooting down Iranian plane on Persian Gulf, labeling Iranian nation terrorist, imposing sanctions on Iran for many years, using forged name for Persian Gulf, obstruction and making excuse for implementing Iran’s nuclear deal and hindering Iranians’ benefit from the deal.
