TEHRAN, January 23 - The Chairman of the Islamic Awakening Assembly said the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance advocate the territorial integrity of all Islamic countries.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Ali Akbar Velayati, the Chairman of the Islamic Awakening Assembly, referring to US presence in Syria and its efforts to create a Kurdish government in the country, said “the US has a substantial role in the disintegration of Islamic countries.”
He added “US, in its presence in Iraq, was unable to disintegrate the country; and that is the reason why it is striving to accomplish its objectives in Syria. Surely, they will also fail in this project, as they did in Iraq.”
Adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Axis of Resistance support the territorial integrity of all Islamic countries, including Syra, Velayati said “the US will ultimately be embarrassed in the region and, whether they like it or not, has to leave East Euphrates, humiliated.”
