Head of Judiciary hopes Rouhani resists sanctions

Tehran, YJC. Amoli Larijani has said that he hopes that Rouhani will stand steadfast before sanctions.

The Head of the Judiciary branch Amoli Larijani on Sunday in a news conference expressed gratitude to Hassan Rouhani for his positions against Western sanctions and said "I hope that as he stated his ideas on the issue, Mr. Rouhani will stand steadfast before sanctions.”

Hassan Rouhani had called for the West in his inaugural speech on Sunday to speak in the language of respect rather than threats and sanctions.

Rouhani had asserted that the West will hear a proper response only if talking with respect.

In his speech at the inaugural ceremony also, Larijani had criticized the Western sanctions against Iran and "unfair”.

The Head of the Judiciary said that currently the country is in special circumstances and the unfair sanctions have created problems for families.
