Tehran, YJC. Iran's outgoing President Ahmadinejad says that in the US power is not the hands of the righteous.
On the last night of his presidential term, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appeared on the national TV to discuss his viewpoints on a number of issues.
In a part of his speech he pointed to the power system in the US and said "I hope that they [US officials] will repent. Of course the people of America are good people. I saw some of them closely. Nations are good everywhere, but as for the time being the power is not in the hands of the righteous.”
Meanwhile he reasserted positions on Israel and maintained that Iran does not recognize the Zionist regime.
