Tehran, YJC. Programs are to be made by the Iranian TV about the 1992 massacre of Azerbaijani citizens.
Ahmad Kazermi, Director of the IRIB office in Baku has said that based on the massacre convention passed in 1948 by UN, the event is considered as a massacre case.
There are programs to be produced on the Khojali scandal in the Iranian TV in which interviews will be held with 10 intellectuals from Azerbaijan, including researchers and eyewitnesses of the events in Khojali.
The program will be aired inside and outside Iran, Sahar TV being one of the channels to cover it.
A number of Azerbaijan Parliament members also appear in the program.
After the fall of Khojali, civilians of the town were massacred on February 25 and 26, 1992.
Based on statistics, including those of the United Nations Human Rights Council, in the event 613 civilians, including 63 children, lost their lives.
The event has been one of the saddest in the history of Azerbaijan-Armenia struggle over the mountainous Karabakh.
