TEHRAN, January 12 - Iran is going to host the 13th conference of Parliamentary Union of Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) for three days, starting from January 15.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Experts and technical sessions as well as executive committees are parts of the conference.
Permanent and technical committees would be held from Saturday to Monday. The general committee of the conference would host experts from 41 countries.
The experts and technical sessions as well as executive and general committees are focusing on politics, foreign policy, human rights, women and family, legal and cultural fields, economy and environment and women’s participation in Islamic parliaments.
The 13th conference of Parliamentary Union of Islamic Cooperation Organization would kick off on Tuesday to be attended by parliament speakers of the OIC member states.
12 parliament speakers and 9 deputy parliament speakers and delegations 41 Asian and African countries are attending the event.
