TEHRAN, January 12 - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif said that Iran and the EU discussed certain ways to overcome banking limitations.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “The EU has committed to double its efforts to guarantee Iranian nation’s favoring of the nuclear deal,” he said.
Zarif made the remarks at the end of his visits in Brussels. During the visit, he has had sessions with EU Foreign Policy Chief Federica Mogherini and foreign ministers of Germany, France and Britain. He has already visited Russia.
What has been discussed in the sessions is that the international community believes that any action which would undermine the nuclear deal or change it is unacceptable and would be confronted by the international community, he said.
He said that Iran and the EU discussed certain ways to overcome banking limitations.
Zarif said all sides including the US should live up to the nuclear deal for Iran to remain committed to the nuclear deal.
The EU should boost its measures in practice to help Iranian nation favor interests of the nuclear deal, he said.
