TEHRAN, January 11 - The country holding the European Union presidency said it wants to work hard to improve relations with Turkey during its six months at the helm.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said Thursday that the EU has "to try and better relations with Turkey," a neighbor on the bloc's southeastern flank.
Following a period of worsening ties between the EU and Turkey, Germany and France have recently sought to improve relations.
Borissov pointed out Turkey's important role as a NATO member, a military alliance to which most EU nations belong.
He also said Turkey remains key in managing the flow of migrants from the Middle East.
