TEHRAN, January 11 - Firefighting operation in an Iranian oil tanker still burning off the coast of eastern China was resumed, said Spokesman of National Iranian Tanker Company Mohsen Bahrami.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “The firefighting operation already stopped has been resumed,” he said.
He said that the operation started on 5: 00 am by China on Wednesday and was stopped on the same day at 10:00 am because of bad weather.
The operation was resumed on Thursday by China, he said, adding a Japanese team has joined China to put out blaze.
The oil tanker that collided with a freighter off China's east coast on Saturday is still on fire as firefighting and search efforts for the tanker's missing crew members continued for a fifth day.
