TEHRAN, January 8 - Bahraini people walked out last night an in a rally condemned the arrest of Sheikh Mahmoud al-Ali, the country’s senior cleric.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Holdinfg a rally in Alli district, Bahraini people showed their protest against Bahraini regime for arresting Sheikh Mahmoud al-Ali, Saut ul-Manama reported.
The people chanted mottos against Al Khalifa regime and called for the immediate release of the senior cleric.
The demonstrators also called for the release of all political prisoners in Al-Khalifa’ jail.
Recently also, Al Khalifa regime had held in house arrest a top Shiia cleric Sheik Isssa Ghasim who was severly ill but the regime forces blockaded his house depriving him of hospitalization.
