TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - The Iranian cultural center in Baku, Azerbaijan published Azeri translation of the book "an Introduction to the Psychology of Religion" written by Masud Azarbaijani and Sayyed Mahdi Mousavi-Asl. Khazar university of the Azerbaijan republic and Iran’s Organization for the Study and Compilation of Humanities Books of Universities (SAMT) also cooperated in translation of the book.
This book was compiled as a textbook for PhD and MS students in psychology, theology and religious studies, but it is hoped that in addition to the academic community, it will also benefit ordinary readers.
Psychology of religion studies the phenomenon of religiosity from the psychological perspective and describes and defines factors, dimensions and reasons of being religious and its effects and consequences in individual and social life.
Attention to this field has grown so much that it officially has entered the curriculum in many prestigious universities in the world and it is even offered as a specialty at some universities.
