Tehran, YJC. Ministry of Information has said that the international satellite telephone company and other organizations have delayed in positioning the Iranian hikers lost in the Himalayas.

Ministry of Information and Communications Technology Head of Public Relations and Information Ali Eftekhari in an interview with Mehr News Agency provided comments on the efforts by his respective organization to track the three lost Iranian hikers said "Correspondence was made with the international satellite telecommunication operator whose service the hikers used; but unfortunately the operator provided us with the geographical whereabouts of the hikers only after 48 hours.”

He pointed out that the operator company had refused to help with saving the hikers on pretexts of international sanctions, adding "We expected much more from these organizations since it was a matter of people’s lives. They could have cooperated more in saving the lives of these three hikers, but it is a pity that they didn’t.”
