TEHRAN, December 30 - Iran and Turkey held the second round of strategic committee meeting discussing bilateral legal cooperation.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Representatives of judiciaries and ministries of justice from Iran and Turkey took part in the meeting.
The session aimed at implementing an agreement on legal cooperation in civil and criminal
sectors signed in 2009.
The meeting lasted for 3 days and was held in Ankara.
The two sides stressed boosting bilateral legal and judicial cooperation.
Iran and Turkey issued a statement at the end of the session, agreeing to expand ways to transfer convicts sentenced to prison, extradite criminals and have judicial assistance in civil and criminal fields.
