TEHRAN, December 23 - Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) traded more than 409,644 of various commodities worth over $273.4 million in spot and side markets over the third week of December.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - According to the report from the IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 141,346 MT of various products worth close to $124.5 million were traded.
On this trading floor, 133,527 MT of steel products, 6,670 MT of copper, 140 MT of molybdenum concentrates, 9 MT of precious metal concentrates, 1,000 MT of aluminum as well as 20 kg of gold bullion were traded.
The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 224,737 MT of different commodities with the total value of $136.3 million were traded.
On this trading floor, more than 69,121 MT of bitumen, 58,744 MT of polymer products, 41,570 MT of VB feed stock as well as 10,000 MT of lube-cut oil, 21,721 MT of chemical products, 15,320 MT of sulfur, 1,500 MT of slaps waxes, 910 MT of insulation, 851 MT of base oil and were traded.
Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 43,125 MT of various commodities worth over $11.9 million were traded. On this trading floor, 35,800 MT of wheat, 5,478 MT of maize, 1,700 MT of crude vegetable oil, 25 MT of sugar as well as 122,000 day old chicks were traded by customers.
It is worth noting that during this week, the side market of IME witnessed trading of 400 MT of palm oil, 20 MT of polymeric methylene diphenyl diisocyanate and 16 MT of aniline.
