TEHRAN, December 23 - Iran has attracted $2 billion for 37 projects in the field of industries, since first 100 days that the 12th government of the Islamic Republic has come to power in August, said Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Shariat-Madari.

The Iranian minister said giant Iranian steel, copper and auto manufacturing companies have attracted extra investment as well.

The statistics show that foreign countries are willing to make investment in Iran in post-JCPOA era despite US pressures.

He noted Iran should raise its economic growth to 8 percent annually, and it needs $54 billion foreign investment per year for the goal.
