TEHRAN, December 19 - French President Emmanuel Macron stressed that Iran’s nuclear deal is the basis of ‘our cooperation’ with Iran and cannot be changed.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - “France is after dialogue and constructive relations with Iran,” he said in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to France Emmanuel Macron in Paris.
He said that France wants to preserve and implement the nuclear deal, officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
France is willing to negotiate with Iran on regional developments, he said.
Delfi, for his part, said, “The Islamic Republic of Iran stresses settlement of regional issues through talks and is against any foreign meddling.”
He also said Iran-France consultations on regional issues would boost peace and stability in the region.
