TEHRAN, December 18 - Managing Director of Iran’s Pars Oil and Gas Company Mohammad Meshkin-Fam said the second new oil contract, known as Iran Petroleum Contract (IPC), would be signed with Danish Maersk energy company by the next 2 months.
TEHRAN, Young Journalists Club (YJC) - Iran is in talks with the company for developing oil layers of South Pars gas field, he said.
“Talks with Maersk have gone well. We are likely to obtain good results by the next two months and all issues will be settled and an agreement will be signed.”
Elsewhere, regarding possibility of Maersk-Total merging, he said, the merging has not come true yet and Maersk is our interlocutor in the talks.
“We have plans in case there will be a merging. We see no problem in the merging in case we reach an agreement on financial and technical issues.”
