Iranian Chamber of Commerce tries to neutralize sanctions

Tehran, YJC. The Iranian Chamber of Commerce has said that it has been welcomed in a totally new way in its visit to Armenia, hoping to make changes in the way the country relates to others.

Leading the biggest Iranian diplomatic delegation to Armenia, Yahya Al-Eshaq said that the meetings have been satisfying and promising.

Al-Eshaq said that "We must wait for great changes and big improvements in the country’s foreign commerce.”

A crew of 80 tradesmen and industrialists headed by the Director of Tehran Chamber of Commerce Yahya Al-Eshaq have visited Armenia for talks with the private section.

Deputy of International Affairs of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce Mohammadreza Bakhtiari says that the delegation is the biggest ever since the Islamic Revolution.

Meetings were also held with economic figures of Armenia, including the country’s Minister of Energy and Vice Chancellor of Central Bank.

Mohsen Bahrami Arz Aqdas believes that attitudes towards the Iranian businessmen have change greatly to remind one of the days of the diplomatically powerful Iran.

Reuters has said that Iran is after reducing international sanctions, which message the Iranian people indicated to the West by voting for Hassan Rouhani.”

Al-Eshaq said in an interview with an Armenian news agency "Unjust sanctions are put on the Iranian. Iran looks to its neighbor countries for cooperation.”

He said that the current situations cannot go on any further and that with a highly adept diplomat as the President, Iran is looking for some serious change.

He further believed that if agreements are made between Iran and the West, it will not be only Iran to be the side that takes advantage, but the West and other countries as well.

In interview with AFP he asserted "Wait for new developments. But the West must change its behavior in keeping with the message it has received from the Iranian elections.”
